Do I need to install anything?+
No. AuctionBall is fully hosted. Sign up at auctionball.com, pick a subdomain like myclub.auctionball.com, and you are ready to run an auction from any browser. We handle servers, backups, SSL and updates.
How does team-owner bidding work?+
Each team gets a unique bidding link, regenerable per season. Captains open it on any phone (works at 360px+) and see a mobile-optimized panel: current player, current bid, remaining budget, and a single BID NOW button. Real-time updates via WebSocket — no app to install.
Is my data isolated from other organizations?+
Yes. AuctionBall is multi-tenant by design. Every database row carries an org_id and queries are scoped server-side. No other organization can see your players, teams, bids or audit log. You can also export everything as CSV at any time.
Can I run multiple tournaments at once?+
Free is limited to 1 active season. Starter allows 3 seasons (concurrent or archived). Pro allows Unlimited seasons. Each season has fully isolated teams, purse, players and audit log.
What happens to my auction during a network drop?+
The auction state lives in our database, not in browser memory, and the timer is server-authoritative. If the auctioneer or a captain loses connection, they reconnect automatically and resume exactly where they left off — bids in flight are not lost.
Can I export the results?+
CSV export of teams, players, sold prices, bid history and unsold list ships with Starter and above. PDF export and custom org branding ship with Pro. Your data is yours — export it any time, no lock-in.
