bKash and other payments
There are two completely separate things called "payment" in AuctionBall:
- Player registration fees — what each player pays you to join your tournament. The money goes to YOUR bKash / bank account.
- AuctionBall subscription — what you pay AuctionBall every month for the Starter / Pro / Enterprise plan. The money goes to AuctionBall.
This guide covers both.
Setting up player registration fees
When you turn on public player registration, you can charge each player a fee. AuctionBall doesn't process these payments — players send the money directly to your bKash number (or bank), and they paste the transaction ID on the form. You verify and approve.
Step by step
- Click Seasons in the sidebar → click Public registration on your active season
- Set the Registration fee (e.g., ৳500)
- Click the Form builder button on that season
- Click Payment at the bottom toolbar to add a payment field
- Click the new field and add your payment methods:
- bKash — type your bKash number, label (e.g., "Send Money"), and any instructions
- Nagad / Rocket — same as bKash
- Bank account — bank name, account holder, account number, branch
- Other — any other mobile wallet
- Click Save form
When players open your registration link, they see your payment methods as cards on the form. They send the money to whichever method works for them and paste the transaction ID into the Your transaction ID input.
Approving paid players
When players submit, they go to Pending in your players list. Click each one to:
- Verify the transaction ID against your bKash / bank statement
- Click Approve if the money came in, or Reject if it didn't
Approved players move into the auction queue. Rejected players are notified by email — they can try again with a corrected transaction ID.
Paying for your AuctionBall subscription
If you outgrow the Free plan, you'll need to upgrade. AuctionBall accepts bKash and PayPal.
Pay with bKash (manual)
This is the most common option in Bangladesh.
- Click Billing in the sidebar
- Click Renew via bKash
- You'll see AuctionBall's bKash number and instructions
- Send Money / Pay through your bKash app
- Copy the transaction ID from the bKash confirmation SMS
- Paste it into the form on the Billing page and click Submit
Within a few hours (usually under 6), AuctionBall's team verifies your transaction and activates your plan. You'll get a confirmation email when it's done.
Pay with PayPal (instant)
If you're outside Bangladesh or prefer card / PayPal:
- Click Billing → Renew via PayPal
- You're redirected to PayPal's site
- Pay with your PayPal balance, credit card, or debit card
- Your plan upgrades immediately when the payment confirms
PayPal pricing is automatically converted to USD using your organization's exchange rate.
Auto-renewal
For continuous subscriptions, you can turn on Auto-renewal on the Billing page. This works for PayPal (we attempt the charge automatically) but not for manual bKash (because we can't pull money from a personal bKash account on our own).
If a renewal attempt fails, your plan stays active for 7 days (a "grace period") while we retry. You'll get email reminders. After that, your plan downgrades to Free until you renew manually.
Common questions
My bKash payment shows "pending" — when will my plan be upgraded? Usually under 6 hours. If it's been longer than that, email support@auctionball.com with your transaction ID.
I sent the money but typed the wrong transaction ID. What do I do? Click Submit again on the Billing page with the correct ID. The old one will be rejected; the new one will be reviewed.
My subscription expired right before my tournament — help! Email support — we can manually extend your access for a few days while you sort the payment.
Can I get a refund? Yes, within 7 days of payment, no questions asked. After that, contact support and we'll discuss case by case.
Still stuck? Email support — we usually reply within a few hours.
