Creating your first season
A "season" is one tournament — one auction event with its own teams, players, and budgets. You can have several seasons (paid plans), but only one is active at a time. The active season is the one your live auction page shows.
Make a new season
- Click Seasons in the left sidebar
- Click the blue + New season button at the top right
- Fill in:

- Click Save
You'll see your new season in the list.
Make it the "active" season
Only one season at a time can drive the live auction. To switch:
- On the seasons list, find the one you want to use
- Click the Set active button next to it
- The previous active season is now inactive — its data stays exactly where it is, you can come back to it later
You'll see a green ACTIVE badge next to the new active season.
Auto-finalize: a useful toggle
When the bid timer hits zero, what should happen?
- Auto-finalize ON (this is the default) — if there's a leading bid, the player is sold automatically. If nobody bid, the player is marked unsold. The auctioneer doesn't have to click anything.
- Auto-finalize OFF — the lot stays open after the timer runs out. The auctioneer clicks Sold or Unsold manually whenever they're ready.
You can flip this toggle any time on the live auction page. Most organizers leave it on.
What about the bid step?
The bid step is the minimum amount a new bid must beat the current one by. If the current bid is ৳1,00,000 and your bid step is ৳5,000, the next bid must be ৳1,05,000 or higher.
We give you two separate bid steps — one for BDT mode (e.g., 1000) and one for USD mode (e.g., 10) — so the numbers stay round in both currencies. There's no automatic conversion between them; pick what feels right for your auction.
Editing a season later
Click any season in the list to edit its name or bid steps. You can't change a season's sport after it's created (because that would invalidate the players already in it).
