Inviting your team
You probably aren't running the tournament alone. AuctionBall lets you invite co-admins, the auctioneer, team owners, and silent observers — each with the right level of access.
Who can do what

Most tournaments have one admin (the organizer), one auctioneer (the person running the event), and one team owner per team.
Sending an invitation
- Click Users in the left sidebar (this is admin-only)
- Click the Invite button at the top right
- Fill in:
- Email — the person's email address
- Name — their full name (optional, helps you keep track of who's who)
- Role — pick one of the four roles above
- Team — only shown if you picked "Team owner". Pick which team they belong to
- Click Send invitation
They get an email with a link. They click it, set a password (if they don't already have an account), and they're in. Their access shows up in your Users list.
Pending invitations
Invitations are valid for 14 days. If someone hasn't accepted yet:
- See them in the Pending invitations list at the top of the Users page
- Copy link — copy the invitation link so you can resend through WhatsApp / SMS if their email is broken
- Revoke — cancel the invitation; the link stops working immediately
Removing a user
In the Users list, you can revoke a user's access. They lose access to your tournament but keep their AuctionBall account — they can still be invited again, or be a member of other tournaments.
Some platforms make removing people awkward. We don't. One click, done.
Linking a team owner to a real account
If your team owner has their own AuctionBall account (because they captain in multiple tournaments, for example), invite them as "Team owner" and pick their team. They log in with their normal credentials and only see the bidding screen for their team in your tournament.
Common questions
Can I have more than one admin? Yes. Invite as many as you need. Be careful — admins can do everything, including delete the whole tournament.
Can someone be in multiple tournaments? Yes. One AuctionBall account can be a member of many tournaments / organizations. Switch between them from the org card at the top-left of the sidebar.
What if the auctioneer's invitation link expires before auction night? Send them a new one. The old one stops working but anyone they've already invited stays unaffected.
